Pickleball Easy Play Guidelines
The purpose of Easy Play is to give new players, novices, and players who are less competitive an opportunity to have fun with prolonged rallies that help build skill levels. There is not much enjoyment in being outclassed by a player who has skills far above those individuals they are playing. There are no formal rules for Easy Play, but we have some guidelines as listed below.
Serves – Should be not too forceful and straight away with little or no spin.
Rallies and Volleys – Minimize spin as much as possible.
Ball Placement – Practice ball placement vs. extremely hard hits.
Ball Play – Let your partner play balls on his/her side of the court.
Tips – Give tips to players that will help to improve their game.
Advanced Players – Need to throttle down their play.
